This is my first post so I apologize in advance for any list taboos committed...
I've recently started using engines, fluxes and FCS nodes. But I have
some odd behavior.
I bring in a .flt model to a pfNode. I add it to a DCS node. Say it's
at the origin.
I then use the same model node, add it to a different DCS with
different vectors and it's at 0,500,100. Two airplanes... looks great.
I then use the same model node, add it to an FCS node that I created
with a C version of fcs_animate example. I now have two still planes
and one moving. Looks great...
PROBLEM:
I then move my eye point around. If my airplane at the origin ever
leaves the FOV, my moving airplane disappears while my other DCS
airplane is still in the frame and is visible.
I've tried a whole variety of combinations trying to make the FCS
model not get culled, but I can't seem to find anything that'll change
this behavior.
Thoughts:
-I was unable to port one line from the fcs_animate example:
fcs->setBound(&bsph, PFBOUND_STATIC);
Would this be an issue? Also, I couldn't find the C version of this
function after some time searching through the .h files. Any help
here, also, would be appreciated.
-Do I need to load the model in again for each one I want to control
with the FCS?
