I've written the first version of a Photoshop image loader
for Performer textures. You can download it from
<http://cs.anu.edu.au/~hugh.fisher/performer/psd.tar>
It's just one function, psdLoadTexFile, which works more
or less the same as pfLoadTexFile.
This is not a general purpose Photoshop loader. It can only
handle flattened (1 layer) images, 1 to 4 channels, 8 bits
per channel.
Code is BSD license, share and enjoy. All feedback welcome.
It would be nice to have a plug-in architecture of some
sort for loading images. Is one planned for Performer?
(Or, since I'm a version or two behind, already existing
that I don't know about?) IRIX has the image library, but
not Linux AFAIK. I suppose I could just write it as a
general database loader that returns a pfTexture node.
