Steve,

We had this problem before with an Onyx300 that has 2
pipes. You can solve the problem by contacting SGI
and obtain a monitor adaptor cable to genlock the
pipes. You'll find more info about this in the
Performer mailing-list archive by searching keyword
"genlock".
