Hi All,

Has anyone been successful doing shadow-mapping (or
z-buffer shadow) in Performer? If anyone has a simple
Performer program that does shadow-mapping (or
z-buffer shadow), I would really appreciate getting a
copy of the code (or the relevant part of).

I got shadow-mapping to work in an OpenGL program on
my PCs (Win XP & 2000, w/ Radeon 9800 Pro GPU). But, I
really need it to work in Performer. I've tried
everything I could think of but failed on every
attempt.

Note: I've tried projective shadow using
pfLightSource, as shown in Performer sample
shadowsNew.cxx, but it doesn't work properly on a PC.
shadowsNew.cxx ran with no complaining messages on the
hardware (Radeon 9800 Pro seems to support all the GL
extensions it needed), but I get strange results (big
polygon shadow projected on background that is not
suppose to be there).

=====
Thanks,
faculaganymede
