Instead of calling pfExit() you may want to try calling
pfExitWithoutExit(). pfExit() definitely calls exit(). Performer
(unfortunately) doesn't clean up after itself as well as it should (even
when calling pfExitWithoutExit() but fixing that would be (is a) huge
task.
As far as RenderMoneky is concerned, we've done some work with it that
should make it into 3.2 which will make it a sinch to use RenderMonkey
data from within any Performer application (and yes, I know that's _kind_
of vague :)
