Hi Arya,
Performer 3.1 supports a new cliptexture emulation mode
that uses the ARB_fragment_program extension. This
implementation is completely transparent to the user, and
adds no tesselation requirements to the geometry.
This works faily well on an ATI 9800XT card. I havn't tried
it on any more recent hw (NV GF6800 or ATI X800), but I
expect it should run at 60Hz.
