I implemented a particle system class using fluxed GeoSets (GeoArrays
these days, I guess). It wasn't too difficult. I found some generic
code online and integrated it into Performer. The way I did it has the
limitation of only supporting one viewpoint (I did my own billboarding),
but I'd guess that you can do it using pfBillboards just as well.
