I believe that 'Shared' is not defined in the Performer library itself, but a
great many Performer apps (such as most of the pguide samples) set up a
structure by this name to be a pointer to the shared arena.

For example, run "grep Shared" in
   /usr/share/Performer/src/pguide/libpf/C
(or the windows equivalent)
