You can check out this page http://www.vterrain.org/Water. It's quite nice
summary of links to realtime water simulation projects or papers. Especially
the "Deep Water Animation and Rendering" is very interesting (based on
Tessendorf paper).
And if you google bit around you can find some more stuff. Most of it is
openGL implementation (if mentioning any implementation at all), I haven't
heart about some project profiting from Performer.

Good luck!
Jaroslav

Subject: [info-performer] pfOceanWaterSurface

pfHello

I want to create a realtime flight simulation with Performer
which operates in a maritime environment and I would
love to let the ocean waves look as realistic as
possible, for example with dynamic waves. Has anyone an idea
or experience in which performer techniques would be useful?
Is it reasonable to use pfASD nodes for an dynamic water surface?

Many Thanks

Peter
