Goncalo:
Thanks!
Probably unlike most on this list, I am not a strong programmer in C/C++. I
find vrml2 very useful in that I can develop worlds with complex behaviors,
triggers, lod, spatialized audio, animations, w/o leaving the vrml2
specification...but am limited by the existing vrml browser's dependence on
IE or Netscape, their lack of stereo viewing support (dual channel), so, in
answer to your question, I am looking for something close to full support of
the vrml97 spec. Just another loader that allows me to load
geometry/shaders/textures is not that useful, I can just translate a vrml
file to another format supported by performer, if that is all I want.
Either linux or windows, although at present I would prefer linux.

Hey,

What kind of initial support do you need? I'm doing one...

It's X3D and I'm hoping to have part of the Interchange profile by
SIGGRAPH with shaders support. Only windows and linux. I'm willing to
release source code under LGPL.

Cheers,

Goncalo
