MPI Have just announced an IGES import tool for Creator( Not free and
not what you would call cheap either)

http://www.multigen-paradigm.com/news/pr/0420_04_1.shtml

Also I believe Polytrans (www.okino.com)has an IGES option, from which
you can go to whole slue of formats, again not free..

Regards

Gordon.

Subject: [info-performer] IgesToIv source code or win32 exe

Hi all

IgesToIv is such a useful tool for converting nurbs-type surface data to
inventor (and through this route to csb, pfb, etc which understand
nurbs) format but it's a shame there's no win32 version of it nor a
source code which one can compile under windows to use it like one can
on SGI. Does anyone know of its existence?
Or a similar utility that could convert an igs file into a format that
understands nurbs and is also supported by Performer?

Thanks.
Shrikant
