Hi Dan,
The license file is included as part of the OpenGLPerformer310.exe
self-extracting installer, and the one there definitely is for 3.1 -- just
rechecked.
But if you're installing this on a system where you'd previously installed
3.0, and haven't cleared your Temp directory since, you'll be prompted during
installation for whether you want to overwite the files in your Temp
directory. You should answer "Yes to All" to this question. It will be a
dialog box along the lines of,
The following file is already installed on your system:
C:\DOCUME~1\ALLANS~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\pft1~tmp\license.dat
Overwite? Yes / Yes to all / No / No to all
If you don't do this you'll be left with whatever license.dat was previously
there, most likely from pf3.0.
Another option is, prior to executing the self-installer, to go clear out
your Temp directory where installsheild extracts the OpenGLPerformer310.exe
contents. On my PC that's:
C:\Documents and Settings\Allan Schaffer\Local Settings\Temp\pft1~tmp
