Have a look at "man pfuTraverser"; and the functions like pfuTravPrintNodes
in /usr/share/Performer/src/lib/libpfutil/trav.c.
In fact pfuTravPrintNodes (and its callback, cbPrintNodeInfo) print the
colors, normals, & texture data so you should be able to easily modify this
for your needs.
