My problem is related to the shared memory between the different
Performer-processes.
I use an external LOD-library to generate polygons. This library, which runs
in one of my DRAW-processes does not allocate memory from shared area, and
are thus not accesible from my other DRAW-processes, which is very
unconvenient. (I use a 4-display CAVE (www.vrco.com) connected to a Onyx4
through 4 rendering pipes, and does therefore have 4 DRAW-processes.)
Multi-threading would probably give all my DRAW-processes/threads acces to
the LOD-library without causing any problems.
Is it possible to run Performer in Multi-threaded mode on IRIX?
