Hi all!
I continue having problems with tesselation and building topology due to
scarce documentation and/or some bugs or unfinished implementation. I also
didn't get any answer to previous problems reported (see "pfParaSurface
question" with 2 other reports attached - problem with
pfdBuildTopologyTraverse and repTest sample problem)
As I realized now the function pfTopo::buildTopology() crashes (access
violation) for most combination of pfParaSurfaces that I insert in the
topology. As one example see above mentioned "problem with
pfdBuildTopologyTraverse".
Also I tried the topoTest.cxx sample. It buildes topology explicitly by
inserting pfBoundaries which works but if I replace this manual topology
building code with pfTopo::buildTopology() (and leave just
pfTopo::addSurface calls - as I understand the man pages, buildTopology
should work just with list of given surfaces) the resulting tesselation
gives nice example of what happens when you lack topology. So it doesn't
crash in this case but obviously doesn't work. Playing around with the
setDistanceTol doesn't help.
thanks for any help.
Jaroslav
