We're using CAVElib for our applications, so that takes care of all the nasty multipipe details. Our applications run fine on the Onyx2, but with the Onyx4 there's a definite delay when loading geometry to the other pipe. Onyx4 doesn't do actual genlock I think, but something close enough.
The pipes seem synchronised, cause the stereo images look fine, without vertical-retrace artifacts so to say. It might be just yet-another-driver-bug(tm) we're running into here, or it might be something that has changed compared to the Onyx2.
