We recently downloaded performer 3.1 onto a P4 2.2 ghz laptop, ATI 9600,
2 gig mem
running Windows 2K which we use to develop models in Maya for use in our
performer apps.
We loaded Performer on this box so we could check the models in perfly
before pushing them
out to our apps.
When we first loaded performer (3.1 Bata) we could bring up perfly with
no problems
through out a session!
Then in late january (I think around the 20th) the demo license showed
up as expired
so we updated Performer to the released version of 3.1. Since then we
have had problems.
When you first boot up you can run perfly fine for a while but after
that It will not give you the menus or
let you move objects in the scene. (It's locked basically). and it
takes a long time to come up!
This happens when you run perfly with or without models.
Any Ideas?
