Hi pfGuys,
I've made further tests and found out, that perfly looses syncronization
after running continuously for 1 day. None of the 2 processes seem to be
syncronized to vsync although they had been at start-up.
Testcase: 2*3.06 XEON, kernel 2.4.21, NVIDIA 4363 with
__GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK, PF_NV_VSYNC_WORKS, __GL_FSAA_MODE=5, perfly -t 0x21
town_ogl.perfly, drive mode, town center, full screen draft stats
This is strange because it's maybe not related to counter overflow of
short or int.
What are the values on the stats graph indicating under
Frames=121 Misses: total=121 app+cull=34 draw=0 ?
what is this "experimental new freeRunSema strategy" (see perfly output)?

What are the environment variables doing and what is the relation
between them?
PF_SYNC_TO_VBLANK
__GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK
PF_NV_VSYNC_WORKS
Is there a fix in OpenGL, to shift the syncronization hurdle?
