Hi,

About the same time that Performer 3.1 will be released we'll be setting
up several new Linux workstations to support our VR efforts- all will need
licensed copies of Performer. We'll also be upgrading our existing IRIX
and Linux workstations to 3.1.

This leads to a couple of questions:

1) Can we use our 3.0 Linux licenses for Performer 3.1, or will we need to
get new licenses? Is there an upgrade price? I ask because I was
surprised when my 3.0 license didn't work with the 3.1beta.

2) What flavor of Linux do you recommend? We're looking at Red Hat and
SuSE, but will go with whatever SGI recommends as "best" to use with
Performer. If you won't answer that, can you tell us what you use for
   your development?

Thanks,

-John
