Hi,
I have a problem running performer programs on my laptop with poor graphical
chip (Sis 630/730). In pfInit() (where some dummy opengl contexts are
created) the video driver throws lots of exceptions and it's very annoying
when I try to debug the program, although when continuing after each of them
it actually gets running. Looking at the console window it usually
coresponds to the moment when performer says "WGL_ARB_pixel_format not
present in your OpenGL driver, Performer will emulate it". When I turn the
video hw acceleration off in the system configuration and the sis driver is
not loaded at all, exceptions don't appear.
Well, this is definitely my problem (or of my crapy video driver) but my
questions is,
Is there some way to influence the way performer initializes in pfInit? Or
more concretly the hw acceleration vs. software emulation it uses or pixel
format it chooses? Isn't there some smart environment variable?
By the way, is there some complete list of compiler defines and environment
variables that performer uses? It think there was some question about that
on the list before but I didn't find the answer and didn't find it in
documentation neighter.
Thanks for any help!
Jaroslav
