Hi,
I have modified a database after loading and have not ensured the
orientation of the surface normals. This leads to missing polygons in the
terrain when rendered. I have tried changing the backface culling option with
pfCullFace(PFCF_OFF);
pfOverride(PFSTATE_CULLFACE, PF_ON);
after configuring the channel but this has no effect. Would the lighting
have a similar effect? I have removed the light source but have a scene
which is too dark to tell if there are any polygons missing. I have also added
pfOverride(PFSTATE_ENLIGHTING, PF_OFF);
But this also leaves the scene dark. Ideally I would like to see the
polygon colours as have been set without lighting effects and with the
polygons "facing" away visible to.
Thanks,
Tony.
