Hi there,
I've downloaded the Performer framework (for Windows) and
I've got some questions that I thought you can help me with. The
Windows distribution package includes both, library and header files,
but there is a slightly difference between the documentation and the
libraries. While the documentation says that there is a libpfmpk.dll,
the package includes a libpfuiD.dll instead of it. All the four other
dll's coincide with the documentation, that is to say, I found:
libpf.dll, libpfdu-util.dll, libpfui.dll and libpfv.dll. In addition,
I read a lot about a libpfdb library which is not included as a single
library, and I wonder if the content of this library is included in
any other library.
My second doubt deals with the relation among libraries and
headers. Header files are organized in folders starting from
$(home)includes\Performer, and then sub-organized in other folders
like \pf, \pfdb, \pfvm, etc, but there is no explicit form (or
at least I couldn't find an intuitive way) to match them :-( . You
might wonder why should I care about that... well the reason it that
we are trying to "wrap" those libraries into a Smalltalk environment
by using a tool which loads the definition based on header files and
it would be nice to make one wrapper for each dll.
Well, I hope not to bug you with all this explanation.
Thanks in advance,
Juan Manuel Cappi
