Hello,
When I specify non-multiprocess mode via:
PFMP_APPCULLDRAW, I get on IRIX:
54403 PF Proc: APP pid:54403
54403 PF Proc: ISECT pid:54403
54403 PF Proc: DBASE pid:54403
54403 PF Proc: CLOCK pid:54404
54403 PF Proc: COMPUTE pid:54403
54403 PF Proc: SYNC pid:0
As you can see, a single process is forked: CLOCK.
What is the function of this process, and can I prevent it from being
forked? What should I pass to pfMultiprocess for this?
Also, on linux, I don't see a CLOCK process, only on IRIX.
I am trying to debug an app that uses Python threads, and I suspect
that somehow, performer's multiprocess mode reeks havoc on Python's
threading.
Thanks,
Bram
