I can confirm this, but my problem was a mysterious crash in the LM. An
update of RedHat 9 then changed the problem to a libc link error. Best
to stay away from RedHat 9 and Performer 3.0.2. We switched back to the
latest Debian testing release, and Performer apps are stable now.
