We have a system running RH9 and nvidia 4496-driver.
When we try to run our vizualisation-software based on performer 3.0.2
for gcc3 the license-check fails.
PF 'performer_linux' License check failed. Reason:
PF Exact Error Message from License Manager is:
PF --> Bad version number - must be floating point number, with no letters (-77,131)
PF Performer was unable to acquire a license.
PF Set $PFNFYLEVEL to 4 for more details, or visit
PF http://www.sgi.com/software/performer/
PF This is a fatal error condition.
PF Read the error messages for an explanation.
PFNFYLEVEL is 4.
We have tried both the demo-license and a valid license with the same
result. We have redefined ctype according to previous information on
info-performer and redhat's bugzilla.
Is there anyone who have succeeded in running performer 3.x on
redhat9?
regards Joakim
