To get your file to work I had to do the following, give it a try. Mtl
file did not change.

mtllib bay.mtl
g default

v -1 -1 0
v 1 -1 0
v 1 1 0
v -1 1 0
vt 0 0
vt 1 0
vt 1 1
vt 0 1
s off
usemtl bay
f 1/1 2/2 3/3 4/4
