I created a little program to test a socket stream with Performer.
On the IRIX systems, it will display a dummy message (as 3D text)
and will replace this text with the contents of the socket message
whenever one arrives (and when the app process can get around
to reading it).
On windows (2000 professional) the same program compiles without
errors, and it will run - butI do not see the initial text, and
any new message data is also not displayed.
So... I looked in the 'Src\pguide\libpf' directory to compile and
try the SGI 3D text examples. They are commented out of
the Makefile! So I check the release notes. No mention that
pfString, pfText etc are not working.
Did I miss it somehow? What is the status of pfText on
windows? Or, what is the trick?
Thanks for your help!
