I would appreciate an answer to this as well.
Why does performer show a max of 29MB tex mem with Nvidia cards?

graphic card.

pfHello,

I ve got a new GF FX5600 with 256MB onboard, I am using the 4496 NV
drivers and RH8.0.

When I run perfly, I can notice that Pf is reporting a wrong mem size.
Here is the output:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
blah blah blah
25213 PF Debug: Machine Type: GeForce FX 5600/AGP/SSE2
25213 PF Debug: No vsync GLX extension. Emulating vsync.

25213 PF Debug/Resource: pfInitGfx() - Window "OpenGL Performer

25213 PF Download rate = 138.613 MB/sec
25213 PF Total texture use = 0.125 MB
25213 PF This texture uses = 0.424% of
29MB memory
25213 PF Total texture use = 0.424% of
29MB memory
blah blah blah

I ve tried to put a VideoRam line in the device section of the
XF86Config file that has been useless.
I don t know if the driver reports a wrong size, if Performer is
mistaking or if my dealer owes me some money 8)

pfThanks,
    Marc.
