I was keen to try Performer on a PC but I've having a little trouble on Linux.
I've downloaded the gcc3 rpm's and installed on Red Hat 8.0. I cannot build
the sample code in the /usr/Performer/src/pguide/libpf directory (but the
libpr samples build fine). The error is:
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXm.so: undefined reference to 'XRenderParseColor'
I checked I have the libXm dso's:
# ls /usr/X11R6/lib/libXm.so*
libXm.so
libXm.so.1
libXm.so.1.0.2
libXm.so.2
libXm.so.2.0.1
libXm.so.2.1
libXm.so.3
libXm.so.3.0.1
# rpm -q openmotif
openmotif-2.2.2-12
# rpm -q lesstif
lesstif-0.93.49-1
I can't find any references to 'XRenderParseColor' or a similar problem
through 'Google' and I'm a bit stumped. Has anyone seen this before or have
any ideas?
Regards,
Tony.
