Thanks for reporting your emulated-cliptexture-related problem.
We are working on a new implementation of cliptexture emulation
which should be completed for our next major release.
The problem you are describing is probably related to the asyncronous
loading of image tiles. I will try to hunt down the exact cause when I
get to that stage.
