pf3.0 on rh8 should be fine. and running perfly town.perfly should be
fine as well. the only thing that i can think of that would cause a
problem is that if you didn't also install OpenGL Shader
(http://www.sgi.com/software/shader/) which is a requirement for gcc3
version of pf3.0.
