Hi Performers,
we just bought a Dell 2x Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 2.80GHz maschine with
Nvidia's FX2000.
Perfly runs in principle, except for some Z-buffering failure, which is
a potential X-driver problem and will be corrected hopefully by some
future releases.
But our own written application ( visual system for flight sim. )
crashes with segfault or abort, although it is running fine on our ONYX,
INDIGO and as well on a single proc. Linux PC.
Both Linux PC's( the single and the dual proc.) are running Suse Linux
8.2 and Performer 3.0.1.
My question: What changes have to be done to build an application for a
dual-proc ? Do you use any specific compiler switches ( optimization,
memory management, ... ) ?
In Fact: At the time I use the performer demo version. I will be able to =
use the full licensed version in a few weeks.
Thanks for iny info.
Regards
Jürgen
