yeah...

2.91 from redhat 6.2 (the last c++ compiler that came with redhat prior
to gcc3 that could compile the pf source. (2.95 will compile pf though,
but the build is complicated enough without having to install a custom
compiler))
don't know which gcc version the flexlm library is compiled with.

yeah, but if you notice the linker warnings about the use of sys_errlist,
i get the impression they may be using symbols they probably shouldn't be
using. we've got bugs filed against them and they're fixing this stuff
for their next release.
