Don't have an answer, just some debugging ideas.
- Does perfly print any unusual warning messages?
- Does the same thing happen if you run perfly locally on the Linux
box? (no remote display)
- Does it only happen with perfly or other Performer samples also?
(e.g. simple.c)
- Do non-performer (e.g. pure OpenGL) apps have the same problem?
- Can you run the Windows version of perfly natively on the Win box?
I don't know what to do if any of the above answers are "yes" :-) but
the questions define enough half-spaces to at least be able to narrow
down the root cause..
