Your configuration is Ok.
The drivers for Nvidia don't support the Xinerama for multiple "pipes" by
the moment.
We have made probes with Kde and Gnome and we finally use KDE because Gnome
have problems to start the window manager in the second pipe. Try the first
time with the command kdeinit ("This will configure your desktops
automatically")
In Performer you need to configure the two pipes to work with the four
screens.
To configure the pipes try with something like this:
for (i=0 ;i<NUMBER_OF_PIPES;i++)
{
pipe[i] = pfGetPipe (i);
pw[i] = pfNewPWin (pipe[i]);
pfPWinOriginSize(....)
pfPWinFBConfigId(pw[i] ,.. );
pfPWinName (pw, ....);
pfPWinMode (pw, PFWIN_NOBORDER, TRUE);
pfPWinConfigFunc (pw, IMA_OpenWin);
pfConfigPWin (pw);
.......

Asunto: [info-performer] HowTo? Performer/Linux on 4 screens (Quadro4 400
NVS)
So, my group has been experimenting with various XF86Config files to try
and get 4 screens working on this PCI board.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Since this board has TWO Quadro chips on it, there are 2 PCI devices.
We got TwinView working on each device so there are 4 screens working
now, but each pair of screens is :0.0 and :0.1. Is that good or bad?
Xinerama seems to be only for X-windows, not OpenGL windows.
Maybe it is supposed to work and we did it incorrectly.
Any ideas are welcome...
thanks,
ml
