Leonard,
Either glX or Performer might not be picking the correct visual on your
machine. Try this `glxinfo' it will print a list of visuals and there
attributes. The visual ID is the first column look for a column headed
dpth that is the number of depth bits. Find a visual that has depth bits
and run perfly -t 0x<vis_id> cow.obj and you should see the cow in its
normal state. I suspect Nvidia may be at fault here but who knows.
Please let me know how the test turns out.
