yeah, you need to modify your XF86Config as well as have a "Quadro" card
if i remember right. trying to get your own visual with performer's
FBConfig won't work until pf3.0.2 is out. there was some major glx rework
that went into 3.0.2 that will enable performer's FBConfig stuff to work.
you should be able to open up your own window and give that to Performer
though. (via the motif.c examples or something along those lines).
