We are in the initial stages of constructing a VR/VE facility on our
campus. We have several packages to evaluate, and Performer is at the
forefront for our renderer. We are not sure if the entire system will
reside on Windows or Linux, so we are performing an evaluation of all
the packages involved.

As I understand it, Performer 3.0 can run on both Windows and Linux.
Could some people who have experienced both OS's or have knowledge of
this name some advantages and disadvantages of each. I am quite
familiar with both OS's, just not with Performer.

TIA
