[info-performer] perfly images and system freezes (fwd)

Has anyone found an SGI GLUT version available for download that will cure
the below dilemma? (or Is the GLUT that is available in the MesaDemos
package the one to grab?)

graphics driver: NVIDIA 1.0-4363
RH9.0
Performer 3.0.1

No visuals when running perfly. Also, ESC won't
quit perfly: killing perfly (^c or killall)j causes system
to quit.
