Try man pfDispListOptimizer.

     pfDispListOptimizer::cloneGSet returns a temporary clone of gset. This
     clone pfGeoSet should not be used outside the context of the
     pfDispListOptimizer user function.

This function clones pfGeoSets in a very narrow case. It is not meant for
cloning pfGeoSets in any process other than a CULL_SIDEKICK.
