I tried installing Performer 3.0.1 on RedHat 9 last night. RPM tells me I'm missing a dependency: libNoVersion.so.1. However, the Performer FAQ (http://www.sgi.com/software/performer/linux-faq.html#5) doesn't list this file as a dependency. As far as I can tell, this file is only contained in outdated versions of glibc, but I could be wrong about that. Can anyone shed some light? I don't really need to downgrade glibc or anything crazy like that, do I?
