Hi Stephen,

perfly can display the database tree in overlay. It is a little
uncomfortable as
far as user-interface goes, but it does display the tree structure, node
names
and node types..

Just click on the "Show Tree" button at the bottom of the GUI panel, then
use the "Show Tree X Pan", "Show Tree Y Pan" and "Show Tree Scale"
sliders to adjust position and scale of the overlay tree.
Note also that moving mouse cursor over the rectangles representing nodes
will cause the corresponding geometry to highlight. You can select between
different highlight modes through the "Hlight" combo-menu (top-right on
the GUI panel).
