[info-performer] perlfy errors: irix6.5.18m, Pf 2.5 (technically a repost)

Any thoughts on this problem:

This was posted previously by my predecessor, but it still exists.

I've narrowed it down to C++ version of perfly only. The C version
  works fine. Both show the same 'ldd' info. Both are freshly built
  OPT versions and DBG versions.

I don't see any "link" problems in /usr/lib32 for Performer.. so I have
  no ideas.
