[info-performer] Webcam integration with Performer app

I'd like to use the output of a Logitech webcam as the background for my scene,
rather than a blanking via pfClear(). We're developing an augmented reality
application with Performer. Could somebody please point me to some examples of
how to take a webcam's output and use it as the 2D background of a window?
