Hi all,

First the essential system info:
  SGI 330, Dual P3/933MHz, VR7 graphics
  Dell 530, Dual P4-Xeon/1.8GHz, NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600

Both running Red Hat 9.0, kernel 2.4.20-9, glibc-2.3.2-27.9

We're having serious lock-ups just trying to run perfly with Red Hat 9.
We set the notify level to 7 (internal debug) to get as much info as
possible. When perfly is run in PFMP_APPCULL_DRAW mode (the default) it
locks up right after printing a warning message about having too many
texture units (I doubt this is the cause of the problem, though). We
then tried to run it with -m0 option (PFMP_APPCULLDRAW). This time,
perfly runs fine, but the system locks up when we exit. Finally, we
tried switching to the uniprocessor kernel. In the default
PFMP_APPCULLDRAW mode, it runs fine and exits fine, but when we force
PFMP_APPCULL_DRAW mode (-m4) it locks up again after printing the
texture unit warning.

When the app locks up, the mouse still functions until we try Ctrl-C in
the terminal window, then the system locks up tight. Nothing short of
the reset button (or power button on the Dell) will free it.

Any ideas, suggestions? I'd be happy to provide more info if needed.

Thanks,

--"J"
