Hello everybody!

We are thinking about implementing some per pixel lighting effects in
our application. There is a lot of information of this topic on the net,
and how to implement it using OpenGL. As far as we have understood,
there are three main ways to do it:

- With NVIDIA specific OpenGL extensions
- With ATI specific OpenGL extensions
- With the fragment program OpenGL extension

Are there more ways? Is there any Performer feature that could help us
to do this? And the most important questions, anyone has tried to merge
some Performer code with OpenGL calls in order to implement per pixel
lighting? Do you know any web page where we can find more information
about this (per pixel lighting, OpenGL, Performer...hopefully an example
with source code...)?

Any help will be really appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards,

V&L
