Hi gurus
customer bought 10 licenses for OpenGL Performer 2.5 for
Linux (non SGI Hardware).
The latest version is now 3.0.1
Questions:
a) are the licenses the same for 2.5 and 3.0.1 ?
more precise: will a license issued for 2.5 work with
the 3.0.X version? The FAQ at
http://www.sgi.com/software/performer/linux-faq.html
does NOT talk about licensing for version 3.0.X
apperantly when issuing a new lic for Linux key-o-matic
will ask precisly for which version:
...
*> OpenGL Performer Linux 2.4 [ ]
*> OpenGL Performer Linux 2.5 [ ]
*> OpenGL Performer Linux 3.0 [ ]
...
b) If I do need OTHER licenses for different version - then what
is the process for customer who have already bought the 2.5 version
and would like to upgrade?
c) How to get the CD for 3.0.1 ?
The customer already bought 10 licenses ~ one month ago (version 2.5).
So he is not going to place another order.
at http://www.sgi.com/software/performer/downloads.html
only the demo edition can be downloaded.
more precise: what is the SGI CD Number to order the full edition
it internally?
or
where is the image to download the software ?
Cheers
--Nick
