Yes; we've seen this as well. The 7.4 C++ compiler has a lot of
problems with Performer, all versions.

There are some updates coming on both sides: the 7.4.1 compiler will
fix some of the problems we run into, and Performer 3.0.2 is planned to
fix the rest.

In the meantime, I recommend IRIX users stay with the MIPSPro 7.3.1.3m
C++ compiler.
