we ship a small example in the shader source, i'm not sure if the
performer team ships one as well. the version we ship with shader is here:

 /usr/share/shader/src/performer/

this example shows a few things about how to set geosets w/shaders, how to
load isl code, shading texture callbacks, etc. finally, the example itself
allows you to create a simple remapping of named-pf-nodes to isl shaders,
and then it will traverse a scene and do the augmentation.

finally, please send any feedback on the demo to: shader-feedback++at++sgi.com
-- in the rare event you find a bug. ;)

thanks!
