pfHi!
We want to use Performer with GTK as user interface. I looked at
src/lib/libpfx/pfGTKViewer.C for example code how to do this and found
out, that I need the gtkglarea-widget. I searched the internet for it and
found it on anoncvs.gnome.org. The problem is: I don't get it compiled!
First, the README says that I shall run ./configure, but there was no such
file. It created it then running autoconf, but it said "configure.in:55:
error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PATH_GTK_2_0" and the created
configure script exited with "./configure: line 6570: syntax error near
unexpected token `AM_PATH_GTK_2_0(2.0.0)'"
This makes me a bit brooding. Does it mean I need GTK 2? The homepage
said, it should work with GTK 1.2.6.
Since I didn't manage it to generate makefiles, I tried it without. But
there are some undefined macros and types in the gtkglarea-code:
G_BEGIN_DECLS, G_END_DECLS and GType, which resulted in syntax errors. I
searched through all the headers from GLib & GTK 1.2.6 (which should be
working with gtkglarea), and even the latest version 1.2.10. But without
success. Those identifiers are used nowhere else than in gtkglarea.
Does anyone have experience in using Performer with GTK and can help me
getting started?
